Re: Family Portraits Rereleased
So I've been out of the AIO world for awhile and just saw this. It's so great that Focus is finally allowing some of this older unreleased stuff out. Any updates/word on the Harley Files?

Re: The Return of Joanne?
Ehhh. I don't like the sound of this, actually. Taken in combination with the news that Jack and Joanne were replaced by Dale and Anne in a previous episode this season at the last minute, it seems likely that Allen Young is unable to record anymore. Considering he is 93, it's not exactly surprising...

Re: Soap Opera in Odyssey
The weirdest story on Earth period. You, sir, have not read my novels. :noway: I'm sorry, but I've never gotten used to seeing random relationships forming when they've already established many throughout the years. And besides, Odyssey+Soap Opera= bad.  Many people argue that: Eugene ...

BTW jennifertwt, where are you in Sweden? I'm currently living in Amiens, France. It's cool to see other Euro-Dwelling AIO lovers! Stockholm. I'm an America married to a Swede. 45 years old, so way older than your average listener. I started listening on and off in the 1990's and then got hooked on...

That is definitely not the final cover art.
But it may be giving us some clues about what's to come in the album...

Re: 662: Grandma's Visit
The one thing that bothered me was Eva's voice, though... Half the time it sounded as if it was supposed to be a Spanish accent and half the time an American one. I actually think that's quite accurate. People, especially those with gentle/neutral accents like Eva, tend to alter their accents sligh...

Re: 662: Grandma's Visit
Haha! Easily the best episode of the season so far. It feels like the character actors really feel comfortable with each other now. The kids bounce off of each other really, really well. I'm loving the three-kid dynamic as opposed to the traditional 2-kid pattern followed in... well, just about ever...

Haha! I remember reading that a looong time ago. Great stuff!
Looks like Andrew Lloyd Webber copied that for the plot of his new musical, Love Never Dies, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. Hillarious.

Except Jack was in the Passages episodes... And he'll be in future Passages episodes. So he does exist...Jacob Isom wrote:Jack and Joanne don't exist anymore. Remember?
(Hopefully we'll see them again)

Re: 658: Game for a Mystery
Gosh, I must be out of whack the majority here. I actually like this episode (for what it was). Sure, it's not one that's going to make anyone's top 5 list, but it wasn't a bad slice-of-life, introduction to the Jones family. Reminded me a lot of "Heatwave"... The solution was a bit strang...

Re: Album Clues
Interesting info... I particularily love history shows, so I'm semi-excited about "The Jubilee Singers." I say "semi" excited because I'm half worried that it's going to turn into some political statement like "The American Revelation" did. Just how was the American Re...

Re: 655 The Inspiration Station 1
The writers wanted to get rid of a significant number of the decisions they had made. But, they didn't want to have to explain the reversal of all of these things (characters, locations, employments, etc.) so, they did this relaunch. But, the only way it works is if we assume that nothing will be t...

Potential Possibilities - Deleted Scene
So episode 553: Potential Possibilities aired today. When this episode aired originally, Whit's End posted a free deleted scene from the show that didn't end up making it on the album. You can still read about it http://www.whitsend.org/vault/A000000586.cfm The problem is that, even though the descr...

Re: similarities
If AIO or FotF were in the slightest way guilty of plagerism, we can be assured that someone would press charges. Focus is so hated, especially by Hollywood types, that they would kill to have the chance to try to smear them (see the latest episode with the Super Bowl commercial).
Just my 2 cents.
