Earthbound

Has anyone else played my favorite game of all time, Earthbound? There’s just something about this game, I don’t know how to describe it. It’s like a dream. I’m about to play through it once again and then finally tackle its sequel, Mother 3. The fan translation, anyways. Because Nintendo doesn’t lo...

This game is amazing, as is Shovel Knight and Hollow Knight like you mentioned. I just beat the last campaign of Shovel Knight (King of Cards) and now I feel empty inside...

Silksong looks really cool though, I’m excited for that, whenever it ends up releasing

Re: Ask the Gay Guy

Happy is the complete opposite of attraction to the same sex? If you say so. Words change and evolve. That's the way language works. By this logic, couldn't you say "gay" has just evolved to both be a literal term for homosexuals and a blanket term for something silly / dumb? Sort of like...

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

As an agnostic/aitheist (who apparently enjoys sexual relations with girls), how do you view homosexuality? Are you against it, tolerent of it, don't care at all, completely for it, or something else entirely? Good question. Homosexuality is a complex issue that we still have a lot to learn about, ...

Thank you. \:D/

I totally just saw it for a third time the other night.
Have you seen Looper? Or the Cabin in the Woods?

Not quite the Master, but they were some awesome films.

Yep. Everything is, to some extent, corrupt.

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

Obama or Romney? Why? Neither - I'm voting for Gary Johnson. Sure, you could go on about how I'm throwing away a vote, but I strongly believe we need a third legitimate political party in the US, and choosing the "lesser of two evils" is the only reason we have only evils to choose from i...

Re: Are Atheists /Agnostics /Etc Alike?

Actually I feel like I manage grieving better now that I'm an atheist than when I was a Christian... but that could be just time and experience and perspective rather than beliefs per se, I don't know. Oh yeah, I certainly deal with it better now, I just had to relearn how to do it. Pretty much dit...

Yep, I recently saw Wreck-It Ralph. Didn't absolutely love it, but it was a solid little movie with some nice ideas, good laughs and nice setpieces. Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of video games.

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

Oh our chances are certainly much worse than insects, generally as a group, fishes, generally as a group, birds, generally as a large group, and if we want to get specific, I think such things as mice have better chances than us in the mammal group, and lizzards, as a general group, are going to do...

Re: Are Atheists /Agnostics /Etc Alike?

Random question: Is there anything you miss from being a Christian? Yes. I miss the communal aspect of it - it was also a blanket of safety for so many issues that I had to relearn how to deal with once I accepted reality. For example, grieving loved ones. You have to learn how to grieve, basically...

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

We've not even survived as our modern species even one million years! Our entire genus is less than ten million years old! We cannot be considered the dominate species, not even genus, especially as we are very possibly going to cause another mass extinction that very well may take us out with thou...

I hope you guys enjoy severely limiting your artistic palette, denying yourself of wonderous, masterful works of art because you're too scared of seeing a human nipple on a screen. Absolutely pathetic.

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

Well. We get to call ourselves "dominant" because we're the ones interested in ranking species.... I don't *quite* think that's entirely valid :P lol We're best at the things we value most, which is awesome. Yay for us. It doesn't necessarily make us the "fittest" species, I'd s...

Re: Ask an alcohol-drinking, girl-kissing, pot-smoking Atheist!

The second two paragraphs of JJJJ's above post are excellent points and ones I forgot to make in my original answer. This "other" behavior is largely responsible for all of the major wars, hatred and suffering in humanity. The fear of the unknown. The need to attribute things different to ...
