Did you know they did an album of Disney songs?

It's called Mannheim Meets the Mouse. The arrangements are very nice.

John Williams, Howard Shore, Harry Gregson-Williams. I love Handel's "Messiah". Movie score composers! \:D/ Lord_Kappa, you are a man after my own heart! Hmm...I think I might start a favorite soundtrack thread. :-k Chopin, Brahms, and Gershwin. I like the Romantic style better than strai...

I'm naturally blonde. Wait... that didn't sound right. #-o I will admit that I have frequent blonde moments. :anxious: Ever since sixth grade I've had rather short hair(chin-length, think Lucy Pevensie in the Narnia movie), but recently I've been growing it out so I can get it into a decent ponytail...

I only have my permit, even though I'm old enough to get my license. My mom is just too paranoid to let me drive without her. I guess I don't blame her, though. I live in a very large city, and the people here drive like idiots. Nobody uses turn signals, and people are always running red lights.

Seussical Musical Video

This is a behind-the-scenes video of Seussical, a musical I was in recently. I had 19 performances over two weeks (whew!). It was so much fun! If you want to know, I'm the one who's juggling, and I'm the one near the end who says she likes the monkeys. Have fun watching! http://youtube.com/watch?v=5...

Just to let you know right off the bat, Relient K is my favorite band, so I'm apt to be a little biased. While the name of Jesus might not show up much in their songs, his influence on their lives is quite evident. In contrast to a lot of secular bands, they encourage honesty ("Come Right Out a...

The Code of the Woosters by P.G. Wodehouse This is the most hilarious book I've ever read! It is witty British humor at it's highest peak. If you have never read any of Wodehouse's books, I strongly encourage you to trek to your library and check one out. Overbearing aunts, stolen policemen's helmet...

I was in Seussical the Musical at my community theatre a couple of weeks ago. It's a musical that combines a lot of Dr. Seuss stories into one story. And yes, I will tie this into Girl Scout cookies. There's a scene where the Cat in the Hat as an auctioneer sells Horton the elephant, and he interact...

Arguably, the longest word is SMILES, since there is a mile between the first and last letters. ;)

I saw it Tuesday, and it wasn't half bad. It was certainly not up to the standard of Narnia, but I was pleased. It's kind of freaky, though, because my 12 year old cousin looks exactly like AnnaSophia Robb, who plays Leslie. I love scores, too, and this one was very nice and epic-sounding. What's st...

The trailer is misleading, since not a lot of the action takes place in Terebithia. It's just that the marketers figure that people won't want to see it unless it looks like the next Harry Potter. For the record, I don't think I've ever seen a trailer that does justice to the movie it represents. Wh...
