You've never been to a theater before that? I think my first movie was Lion King...

Narinia....I avoid theaters like the plaugue and only went to this one because it's, of course, narnia and my youth group was going.

I think my first movie was the Disney cartoon Jungle Book like 15 years ago or something...but it could have been Rescuers Down Under (I don't know which came out first).

The Two Towers. Subsequent films I watched in theaters were the Return of the King, National Treasure, and Star Wars III. (Narnia will probably be next.) I generally watch movies at theaters only if I've been really anticipating them. (I hope they make Ender's Game...)

Wasn't "The Jungle Book" a lot more than 15 years ago...?

I've been told that my uncle took me to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (I think) in theatres when I was really young, but I don't have any recollection of doing so. The first movie I remember seeing in theatres was Pocohontas - I think I was ten.

I saw Muppet Treasure Island when I was eight. That was my first trip to the movie theatre.

According to IMDB, Jungle Book released in theatres October 18, 1967. I do believe that's a lot more than 15 years. ;-)

Some movies are re-aired in theatres, though, so it's still possible. :-k

Wow. I'm surprised of the number of people who DON'T go to the theatres here...or who have never been to one...

The earliest I can remember is Chicken Run like four years ago, but I'm pretty sure I was there before that.

I try to go to the theatres as often as possible.

We haven't made you faint yet? You're merely surprised? Bummer. ;)

The first time I was ever at a theater (not counting museum-type IMAX's...) was to go see The Passion. Since then, I've been twice.

Ditto. Yeah, my parents had a rule about not going to the theater, which they reconsidered, fortunately for me, right before Narnia came out. :D
