How Do You Earn Money?
Bumping, because I just started a new job with Collins Areospace, which is now a subsidiary of Raytheon.EK wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 8:18 pmI used to work for some lockheed subs, I think we're all part of it at some point.Dr. Watson wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 7:00 pmI have had some mild interaction with them. I utilize a multiplicity of Collins products; if you could work on improving their customer service hotlines, I would be most appreciative.Jonathan wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 7:47 pmBumping, because I just started a new job with Collins Areospace, which is now a subsidiary of Raytheon.EK wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 8:18 pmI used to work for some lockheed subs, I think we're all part of it at some point.Dr. Watson wrote: ↑Thu Mar 31, 2022 7:00 pmI have had some mild interaction with them. I don't work for Collins, but I work with a few former Collins engineers. Fascinating bunch of folks.
he/him | a little stinker.
I’ve been working as a scientist for engineering firms for the past few years and can confirm that engineers in general are a “fascinating bunch” they’re either egotistical cretins or the nicest people you’ll ever meet, there’s no in-between. Throw a little bit of social awkwardness in for good measure and you have some weird company parties.
I should’ve been a mailman.

i work in corporate communications for a development finance institution in the hague, it's quite a corporate setting which isn't what i expected i'd get into after university, but it's been almost 3 years so far and it's alright.
