I would say...yes. Go to summer camp. Or a summer camp. If you cannot make it to THE summer camp, then A summer camp is always good too.Miss AIOfan11 wrote:I've never been too...am I missing something?Me wrote:Never been. Sounds like I'm missing something.
(Not that I'm asking AIOP to start a Camp ToO or anything like that...*mutter mutter* )

I go to my youth group's five-day camping/beach summer camp every August.
It's a beautiful time of hanging out, getting to know new people, playing games, swimming, and the worship/teaching/ministry times are always the highlight. God is so present at our youth gatherings, but especially when we're somewhere other than home. It's a wonderful time.

Music is my life. God's given me gifts, and I like to use them.
Spirit now lead me, take me where You will
I long to adore You, reveal Yourself to me
My cry is to please You, so have Your way in me
Completely to bring glory to Your Name

Same here...except I wasn't as scared.Dr. Watson wrote:I've been to a week-long BJU summer camp. But that was a long time ago--when I was 7 or 8. I was really scared and didn't want to leave my parents!
It was quite fun when Watson's and my groups were on the playground at the same time. We went off and made up our own obstacle course while the other kids were creating a big ruckus.
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. ♡
