Of course!

Just because the people who write the show say on 2 different podcasts, both official and fan, that they aren't gone for good, that means nothing. They are in the black hole never to be heard from again.

You seem to have missed what I said. I shall restate it in other worlds.

1st: Please do not insult our intelligence

2nd: In the post that you quoted, I said nothing about disappearing characters, but since you brought it up, they did say on podcasts that the Washingtons will not be back, and I'm pretty sure the same about the Strausburgs. So yes some characters will be back, but other will fall into the black which you seem to have mentioned.

The only insult is at you because apparently you can't stay on top of things. Most of the characters are not gone for good. You said you thought they were being written off, when they have stated time and again that those like Bernard, Jack Allen, and others are not gone for good. Now the Washingtons may be gone for now but who knows, they might do something like they did with Jimmy. Then again, I am not sure the Washingtons are that loved.

I'm sorry that I have a life and I am not able to listen to every podcast.

I said that another character was being written off, quite possibly unexplained. I never said anything about all the characters, only one, and then after one family I knew about and another I was pretty sure about because I thought I heard them mention it in a podcast.

They are trying to move foward in the series. This includes updated characters for various reasons. Overused or the actor is no longer free. What more do we need? Sure, lets have a guy voice mayor faye just to keep the character alive.

I never said that but if you would like to continue to twist my words, go ahead. I know AIO does not have to make sense but I appreciate it when they explain why characters are gone, outside of: actor is dead, actor is unavailable. It would have been pretty weird to have Mr. Whitaker to not show up for a few albums unexplained so they sent him across the ocean. If you would like to continue to attack what I am saying, go ahead, but please remember I will no longer respond.

31899, where did he "attack" what you are saying? I read his posts, and didn't see any attacking. (Perhaps it was PM'd...) Regardless, let's cool down.

I thought it was only for this particular album--I thought it was that the Washingtons would not be returning for Album 51 and then inferred that this doesn't mean they'll never be heard from again and that said inference extends to other characters. I mean, Odyssey has a reputation for having loads and loads of characters--it makes sense that we don't hear from some for awhile.

nope, washington's are gone for good, that's not to say they won't be back for an episode like Jimmy Barclay came back years after he left, but there are no current plans to hear from the washington's again

If you go to the Whit's End website and look under the cause and effect album, they have all the episode summaries up.

In my opinion, the next album episodes are really not that great. They might sound interesting, but hey... look at album 51. I'm just not a big fan of the new episodes.

I thought that was very strange since the new season does not start until next month. I noticed last week that they had one of the album 52 episodes scheduled to air over the weekend. The album isn't even in the stores yet. They really should wait before putting information like that on the official site. Everyone knows that the album won't even be in the stores until after the episodes start airing on the radio. I did not find my copy of album 51 until after The Inspiration Station, I had aired.

The official site never gives away every character that will appear in the show, just the "obvious" ones, so I don't think it will matter.

I noticed today that the official site had yet another episode from 52 listed. I can't wait to see what will be listed when the new episodes actually air.

I now own album 52. To wait each week or not to wait?
