FOOTBALL POOL!!!

Q: What do I do in a football pool?

A: You give money so that you can possibly win money.

Q: How much is the entry fee?

A: $5

Q: Who holds the money?

A: Me, I'm going to clear my cash on hand so that only the pool money will be shown.

Q: Okay, so how do I play?

A: You look at the games for the upcoming week and say who you think is going to win. The person who gets the most games right wins all of the entry money. The best part of all of this is that you really don't even need to know anything about football; you just go to www.foxsports.com, look at the games, and guess who you think is going to win.

Q: What if two people tie?

A: Okay, if two people tie with Sunday night football then Monday night will be the tie breaker.

Q: There's only one game on Monday night, what if they both get it right again?

A: Monday night football isn't the same as Sunday night. The two people that are tied are going to have to guess the total combined score of the two teams, but without going over. Say one person guesses that the combined score will be 30, the other person guesses 20, and the real score is 25. Person 2 would automatically win because person 1 went over the real score.

Q: What if they both want to guess the same number?

A: Well, it's first come, first serve. The other person will have to guess another number.

Does everyone understand the football pool, or did I not explain everything?

Okay, so far Irwin is winning, but it can still become a tie if Minnesota beats Green Bay. So, to prevent Irwin, AE, and myself from tying, we all (AE, Irwin, and Ryder) have to pick the total combined score of both teams; but remember, without going over. So...

Green Bay @ MINNESOTA, combined scores 17.

Our first football pool was a close one coming down to three people tying with 11 wins each. The tie breaker came into play at that point. Since the combined score of the Monday night game was 53, American Eagle broke the tie by guessing a combined score of 33- the closest guess of the three.

Wow, that was a lot of fun! I enjoyed checking all the games to see how I'm doing, and I was pretty confident the Monday night score would be above 33. ;) We are playing again this week, I assume? :pray:
