The Town of Odyssey

A few years ago I was thinking about making a comic, inspired by EB.. Obviously, I never did, but I was reminded of it when I reread his ToO comic thread. Lots of good memories, it was fun to read. So anyway, I got reinspired and went to finish what I started. I don't have all the sprites I would like to have, but I have a bunch. If they look too pixelized to you, well, deal with it. I doubled the size So I have room for text and stuff.

So anyway, I had a total blast putting this first comic together, and more will come as soon as I have more inspiration. I am open to ideas and suggestions. And if you want to be in it just yell or something and I'll try to fit you in. Currently there are all of.. two named characters!

I have no idea where this comic will go, but it will probably have some resemblance of a storyline (maybe I'll send myself on a quest, like EB.. xD )

They're sprites ripped from a Final Fantasy game. And then I put them all together with GIMP.

That was great. I totally remeber EB's comic. I was in an issue or two. They were fun. This looks like fun too.

I went back and read them. They were funny, but EB never really finished the series! Plus, it was all oldbie stuff.

What would be awesome was if he finished it and included some more recent peeps!

Alas, it will probably remain a dream...

How about a comic that takes place in The Whit's End Podcast studio?

That was groovy. I liked the old comics and always wished there were more.

I really liked this comic! I wasn't around for EB's Comics...... But I remember looking back at them when I was curious about the days before I was here..... so.... yeah... ignore that. Well, the point of this.......

I remember reading EB's comics. This is fabulous, J-man - very creative and fun! I'm sure that Frank will be flattered to see herself starring in your comic.

It sounds like you have lots of people willing to be in it, and you can add my name to that list, if you want. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I liked it. I made some AIO comics a couple of years ago. I got to about the 4th one and I stopped....
