Music from the past

does anyone like the musid from the days of doowoop, and the roots of rock and roll? You know the classics like, Bing, and Frank. Then Buddy Holly singing maybe baby, and the Everly brothers w/ bye bye love? so what are some of the favorite oldies of my fellow ToOers?

I love the oldies!I don't really like the 60s but the 50s were the best!Elvis is my favorite<3

I love Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Holly, Cab Callaway, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Temptations... the list goes on and on.

I would have, but they don't fit the time frame mentioned.. She said 40's, 50's, and EARLY 60's.. The Beatles were mid/late sixties through seventies.

Now if we're talking 60s-70s, the Beatles, totally. Otherwise, Elvis.

Glenn Miller might be a bit earlier in time than what you were looking for but is nevertheless worth a mention. Benny Goodman and Ray Charles also come to mind in the jazz category.

Finally, lets not forget Herb Alpert and his Tijuana brass.
