How did you first learn about the ToO?

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

How did you first learn about the ToO?

Post by jasonjannajerryjohn »

Were you just randomly surfing the Internet? What was it?

For me, I was searching for AIO, and came across the AIO Wiki, it had a link to the ToO on the Main Page, so I clicked, and ended up here, I just made an account, and started posting.

I also came here when it first started, when Shadowpaw posted the link on Town Hall. I found the TH through AIOHQ. :)

My cousin found it first, joined for a writing contest, and told me about it.

From Zack, I was previously on the TH, it shut down, and he called me and told me about the ToO.

I found it looking around whitend.org when they posted the end of the year voting for your favorite actor (or something like that) and noticed Trank's writing contest. I finally gave in and joined because I wanted to vote for the stories and thought I might write a story if they had another one. ;) (To be honest though, I'm so slow at writing, I probably never would...I'd like to though....)

And then Shadowpaw started advertising theToO so I joined.

I've been here since the beginning.

That's a funny story actually.

I was at a birthday party with The Artful Dodger and we were looking at sites online and the subject of AIO characters came up and I said, "I wish someone would make a forum about AIO." and Dodge replied, "There is." and I was kind of taken by surprise, she then came onto the ToO and showed me some of the threads and members and all. I went home and kind of forgot about it. Then a few days later when I was wishing I had a good site to hang out on I remembered the ToO and so I came here and finally signed up. (It took me several weeks to decide)

So yeah. That's how I found out about this place, Thank you Dodge! \:D/

I was at the TH for a long time before the ToO opened and then I got in on the ToO Beta- and then like 2 weeks after the ToO opened to the public...and that's how I joined.
