When Jason and Connie went to Maxi-Burger...

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

When Jason and Connie went to Maxi-Burger...

Post by The Top Crusader »

...while she was telling him all about the romances and marriages etc going on, I think it was in "For Whom the Wedding Bells Toll" or whatever... did anyone else find that funny? Cause I just kept thinking of Maxi-pads... and like, burgers with those on them, or using them for buns, or something.

Seriously, Top. What goes on in that head of yours? *shakes head sadly*

And that thought never entered my mind when I listened to that episode...at all. :anxious:

Yes indeed...I see...

But, most Americans would never think of any of those. Maxi-pad is really the only one that is common. :-k

So...why did they call it Maxi-Burger, I wonder? Maybe they just thought it sounded cool \:D/

Think about it. Big Mac. Maxi Burger. Big Mac. Whopper.

They were just alluding to stuff like that.

And I agree with EC (yeah, I know, big surprise ;) )
