which one...

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

We always had dogs and I like dogs more than cats Cats are fine. My problem is that I am allergic to cat litter, so even if I wanted a cat I could never have one. The other problem with cats is they do not seem very friendly, or affectionate.

I like cats better - I'm not much of a dog person. :noway: I actually don't really like cats sometimes either, when I have to let our stupid cat in and out a billion times. :x Animals are generally stupid, in my opinion. ;)

I would say dogs. Cats always seem so arrogant to me. Dogs are funny and playful and friendly. I'm always afraid of petting cats because they look like they're going to jump up and scratch you or something.

Didn't we have some fun, though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, 'goodbye.' And you were like, 'no, wait.' And then I was all, 'we pretended we were going to murder you.' That was great...

My friend Jonny and I totally fight over this like, every day in Spanish! I'm a cat lover, and he feels they should all be wiped off the planet. :noway: It's kind of become an inside joke now, and when either of us gets annoyed at the other, we just bring up the fact that cats/dogs are better. (But cats are better. All the way. \:D/ )

Oh my gosh...when I was about 10 or 11, two friends and I decided to set out and prove (to another friend) that dogs are better and more liked than cats. We asked about 150 people and dogs way won. It was so funny because we got seriously carried away and even had a "Paw Print News" Newsletter (that no one but us read). We were/are weird kids. Anyway we then carried the topic into our writing class and we had people writing persuasive essay on why one should like dogs or cats better.

I should go find one of those...maybe I'll post one later.

Anyway, I vote dogs!

I hate cats... but that doesn't mean dogs are better. It just means that I like dogs.

Cats are cool when theyre kittens but then they get mean. I don't like large dogs that do nothing but growl eat and sleep, but I do like small dogs like Chihauhaus and Schitzus. Overall dogs win.

My theory is that cats are disliked because they are smart enough not to love humans unless there is something in it for them. Dogs are stupid, and judging what has been showing on TV for the last five years, stupid is what people like.

I voted cat by the way.

I voted dogs because I enjoy being around dogs more than cats. Dogs are friendly, cuddly, and fun to be around (most of the time). Whereas cats are more reserved and independent. Obviously, there are exceptions, but I find that most dogs and cats tend to be like that.

I find cats to be quite affectionate. I think cats and other animals can tell whether or not you like them. Naturally an animal will be more friendly towards someone who likes them.

Actually they tend more to go for your feet, probably has something to do with the thrill of watching a person shoot out of their bed and bang their head on the ceiling.
