Insane Birds!

About an hour ago, I was getting ready to run to the store. I turned on my porchlight and was just opening the door, when this sparrow started zooming around the light.

It was apparently disoriented and it kept smacking into the overhang the roof. It freaked me out just a little and I turned the porchlight back off, then it flew over to the door and began smacking into the door.. Finally, I turned the light back on and it found the way out.

I've heard of birds flying into windows and such, but I've never seen this!

That is wierd. It reminds me of when a bird flew into my aunt and uncle's window and made a small hole in it.

I've had birds fly into our livingroom window on occasion, but not very often. One was a robin, the rest were sparrows, I think.

Birds have never flown into my windows, either.

Perhaps the roads you drive on are too high in altitude if you are hitting birds, Applesauce.

We had birds fly into our back sliding door all the time when I was growing up. Especially when we had pet birds, the outside ones would try to get in to befriend the indoor ones.
