Michael Jackson was a musical/lyrical genius. He created melodies that have become the basis for most american pop music, his style was so versatile and spanned so many different subgenres of pop/rock it would completely ignorant to discredit him as an artist.

I have a hunch people are biased against him because of his appearance...shocking isn't it?

Truly, anyone who has ANY taste in music at all will recognize that Michael Jackson was one of the greatest musical artists ever, and if you don't realize that and continue to say that he didn't have good music I pity you as you really have no capacity for good music at all.

I won't say that he wasn't talented -- he was. But I just don't like much pop in general. The only Michael Jackson stuff I really like was the old Motown stuff from when he was little.

It annoys me how people my age say what a "freak" he was and how they hated him and how his music is overrated. They're just too immature to appreciate his timeless masterpieces.

He was disgusting becuase he wanted to be a woman, and that for me is a good enough reason to hate him.
Nobody in my family likes him.
I know somebody who called him an evil man. I agree with her that he's evil. She's a Pastor's wife.

He never wanted to be white for that matter, either. He got vitiligo. Actually, when he looked his best (Thriller, Beat It, Billy Jean, etc..) was after only ONE nose job (because he hated his African American nose). He started looking strange after his Pepsi commercial went wrong... His hair caught on fire, giving him second and third degree burns. Do you know what happens when you get third degree burns on your scalp? Your hair never grows back. Hence the wigs. He also got second and third degree burns on his face because of this- hence MORE plastic surgery that led to his plastic surgery addiction. This was also when he started taking pills (for the horrible pain of the burns)... and got addicted to them, too.

People say that if he hadn't gotten burned there, he was done with plastic surgery. And he had never before worn his hair straight. Why, because the straight hair was a wig.

I actually own Michael Jackson's whole discography and I don't ever remember hearing a song about him wanting to be a woman. This is what irks me about people talking about Michael Jackson, no matter how wrong they are...they don't want to admit it.
