The New Fall Season of well...everything!

Post by EK »

What are you guys planing on watching this season...I pretty much have my TV list down.

House
The Office
Scrubs
Heroes
(and I try to catch the Simpsons when I can)

I'm really hyped for house- I want to see what capacity House's old team will play in the show...

Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I usually watch The Simpson when it is in reruns.

Definitely The Office and Scrubs, especially since this is supposed to be (for sure this time) the last season for Scrubs. They killed off Laverne last season and had promised the actress she'd come back if they got renewed, so she's now going to play her sister Shirley.

Other than that... I always forget to steadily watch everything else and therefore am so far behind that I have no idea what's going on. I need a new show to latch on to. Hopefully something decent premieres.

CSI:Miami, maybe CSI, and Numb3rs, if I can stay up that late. Other than that, I don't watch TV much, unless my dad is watching something and I'm at the computer, or really, really bored. I've gone off TV. I'm all for music and writing my stories, and reading my Bible.

Yay for the Office, Scrubs, Simpsons, and King of the Hill (which, like Scrubs, has been fighting off cancellation for a couple years... :anxious: ). We only really get NBC in very well, Fox is kind of iffy... so I'll end up seeing the other random things on NBC, too... Life, Journeyman, and Chuck all look interesting at least, and I'll give Bionic Woman a chance even though the previews don't really impress me.

Everyone tells me I should like Heroes, because its the type of thing I'm known for liking, but meh, I can't get into it for some reason.

My three favorite shows that I keep track of are Lost, The Office, and Heroes (in that order). Lost doesn't come back until next spring, though.

Heroes I'm kinda iffy about this year. I've always thought the show was excruciatingly poorly written, but the plot kept me interested enough to watch all of season 1. Then I thought the season finale was horrible! But out of curiosity I watched the premiere of season 2 last night, and I really liked it (though I still think it's poorly written). *shrugs* We'll see. I may watch it, I may not.

For sure Heroes and Stargate Atlantis. I am totally in love with Heroes now and I am soooo thrilled that the new season has started! \:D/

Well, I watched Chuck and Journeyman last night. Chuck I think has a lot of potential, and it amused me, but it seemed like it was just... poorly done somehow.

Journeyman, I really liked. Interesting, though confusing, premise... although its supposed to be that way at this point. I'm always a sucker for time-travely things and creating alternate timelines, etc.

I agree- Chuck has potential. I saw it a few days ago because our cable's On Demand offered the pilots of the new NBC shows early. It might work...

I missed Journeyman, but then I did see most episodes of Quantum Leap and some Early Edition, so I think I can skip this one. I'll miss it anyway until Fall is over, as Monday Night Football takes priority. ;)

I've heard Heroes was good. Or owowow gtk, et cetera; it depends on how you look at it.

I'd be watching it if it wasn't for my low gore threshold. Maybe if I take it in doses I'll build up immunity? \:D/

Because it's probably the greatest sitcom of all time? :-s

Shows don't generally run for 18+ years if they aren't really, really good.

Whoa. 18 years? :dumb: Man, I feel old. Again. :mope:

I'm now recalling I had some pretty cool Simpsons tees in junior high... including Bart saying, "I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove anything."

I couldn't remember if the current season was 18 or 19... but I checked and this is indeed season 19 that just began... I remember the very first premiere of the first episode on Fox... :anxious:

But yeah, last night Bionic Woman was kind of meh, basically what I expected. Okay but nothing great, and certainly nothing original since it's a remake.

Life was pretty good, though... I enjoyed it quite a bit. \:D/

YAY for the new season of The Office being on tonight!!! \:D/ \:D/
