Indeed. The Blackgaard Clan is doing quiete niceley.Me wrote:My guess is that it's so high to keep people from rampantly starting factions, and then letting them die off, no one having interest in them, etc. By requiring financial commitment of this magnitude, it is more likely that factions will stay active.

I wish we had had Churchill instead of FDR, to be honest...

I'm planning a mega update on Monday with the three most recent reviews. Regular updates should commence shortly after .
I've just been so busy with ToO, my new job, and finals that the Soda Fountain was on the back burner. But my priorities are returning to normal (as many may have noticed, the second level jobs were added to the ToO the other day) and my focus will once again shift to my actor database. Which is so close to completion I really want it done ASAP.

This was something discussed in the planning stages, and you are correct. It's just another way to 'control' things to some extent.Me wrote:My guess is that it's so high to keep people from rampantly starting factions, and then letting them die off, no one having interest in them, etc. By requiring financial commitment of this magnitude, it is more likely that factions will stay active.

No, I don't fully understand it either, but it works. And you can read about it in the making money thread in city hall.
