Re: Daylight Saving Time
I had a three day weekend this weekend and had to be up earlier for work than normal on Thursday so I changed my clocks on Wednesday and I still had trouble waking up on Sunday and today. So yes, I'm in favor, as long as we go with the later times. I kinda like the sun still being up at 9pm this far...

Re: How Do You Earn Money?
I manage a retail pharmacy outlet for a big chain in the city limits of Minneapolis. Been an interesting ride the last few years. As a part of the job I'm licensed as a pharmacy technician in Minnesota and hold the national PTCB certification with lots of experience running pharmacy operations in ad...

Re: "Seasons" of AIO
Thanks to the advanced search function I found a thread from 15 years ago (oof) where a similar question was posed. Here were my "seasons" at the time: Finding the Niche 1987-October 1988 FP1-45 During this time AIO was getting on it's feet. The episodes were fine, but we also had the Harl...

Re: What books are you reading?
The mention of C.S. Lewis reminded me that I'm reading "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe." It really is such a good book! It's a classic for a reason. Just finished Till We Have Faces by the incomparable C.S. Lewis. First fiction book I've read in quite a while. It reminded me of how...

Re: Vaccine Passports
Within the past two weeks I've had two separate friends - one who'd been double-vaxed and one who had his first shot - both come down with a semi-severe COVID infection. My one friend was almost to the point of needing to go to the hospital. To bring it back to the topic on hand, that of course beg...

Re: Wooton Bassett
As far as the specific details about these roles: Wooton's best episodes and moments tend to be the ones where he is giving out, ministering to someone. If I had to pick a Wooton episode as the best, I'd pick The Other Side of the Glass because it does a good job making Wooton silly, yet compassion...

Re: Will Ryan has passed away.
I had the opportunity to meet him two or three times, and he always struck me as a genuinely happy and kind person who had fun with the fans. This is devastating news, he will be missed.

Finished Patton, now reading The Cat Who Came for Christmas, another one of my hospital books. I started re-reading "The Princess Bride" by William Goldman. Just reading the introduction to the 30th anniversary edition made me happy. That's been on my list for some time, is it as good as t...

Re: My Beliefs are Wildly Different Now
As someone who has followed Josh Harris extensively (and who didn't really buy into it in the first place), I'm curious about this. You say that it affected your views of marriage, even after getting married, but I'm curious if his influence played any kind of a role in the change in your overall b...
