Re: Pork Rinds
Haha, I was meandering through our local grocery store today, and I also stumbled upon some pork rinds. I've never had them, but my sister told me they didn't taste very good and convinced me not to get them.

From what I've read about it, it looks good, and I hope to see it this summer.

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I FINALLY GOT ALBUM 51! SO excited! I listened to The Inspiration Station, Parts 1 and 2; Clutter; When You're Right, You're Right; Grandma's Visit; and a portion of Finish What You... (Please forgive the incorrect usage of semicolons!) That actually was correct usage. In a series where one or more...

Re: Post the last AIO episode you listened to!
I enjoy reading the episode ratings and comments -- keep 'em coming!
My last episode was "My Brother's Keeper" (I've recently started over from the beginning) and I realized for the first time that there are differences between the AIO version and the Family Portraits version!

I don't think the timing of the "mayor for a weekend" is set in stone; I'm pretty sure the admins would be flexible and work with your schedule if you were to win.snubs wrote:I would enter.... but I'll be gone..

I had Cincinnati chili for the first time a couple months ago. I don't know if it was from Skyline or somewhere else, but it tasted great!

Re: Complete Adventures in Odyssey Collection on Ebay
I don't think I've ever boughten anything off Itunes... if your computer dies do you really lose what you buy? I always assumed that you have an account and you can redownload based on your account history if your computer croaks. Could be wrong, though. >_> You can redownload in special circumstan...

Re: Fireproof
Fireproof is the only Sherwood Pictures movie I've seen so far, and, despite its limitations, I liked it for what it was and found it touching. Though, while there may be few movies with purpose among today's blockbusters and chick flicks, I daresay there are quite a number of independent and lesse...

Re: Derbyshire Photos (Not for slow connections!)
Beautiful pictures! I love all the green! Makes me wish I'd been able to see more of the English countryside when I was there ... though Lyme Park (rather than Chatsworth Estate) is higher on my list of must-see's.

Re: Carmen Sandiego and other games
I never knew it was a TV show, but I loved Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?. I also enjoyed Oregon Trail (4th edition), even though the screen that was supposed to show the map was always black during travel (I didn't know at the time that this wasn't normal). Gizmos & Gadgets was another...

Google Chrome all the way! And who uses Netscape as their browser now? My family stuck with Netscape longer than most people, not realizing until a couple years ago that it had kind of died. Now it's Firefox all the way! I consider Google Chrome to be the second-best option, but haven't really give...

Re: Your Dream Occupation?
Before, I would have said "something to do with writing." Now -- though I know that writing will always be a part of my life -- I can't definitively say that that's, hands down, what I want in a future career. I would love to work for a ministry or missions organization in some capacity, t...

Re: What you do in Spare Time
On my more productive days, I go for a run or hike, read, and work on a little homework. Other days I am quite the computer head, and you can find me doing things like researching Macs online, playing Settlers of Catan at http://www.games.asobrain.com, and exploring Pandora Radio.

That's too bad about those single episodes! I ordered "BTV: Grace," "Christmas Around the World" and "You Go to School Where?" from Focus a couple years ago. I had no idea they were so elusive now.
