Re: Spiritual Warfare

Thank you Sapphire. Things along the boyfriend front are still kind of shaky. Like, I'll be fine for a few hours, but then I'll read “All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them. Anyone who doesn’t love me will not obey me... (Jo...

Re: Spiritual Warfare

Thank you Anna><>. Right now, I think what I need most is for someone to give me a big fat hug and just hold me for a while and tell me that things are going to be ok. :( I really need to hear from God as well, this is so difficult and exhausting and I can't face this alone.

Re: Prayers would be great!

*hugs* I'll be praying for you. I'm going through something similar right now, so I can sympathize. *hugs again* Oh Lord, I pray that you will be with God's Daughter right now. Please help her get through whatever she is facing right now, and show her that Your light can work through even the darkes...

Re: Spiritual Warfare

Thank you The King's Daughter, Termite and Jesus' Princess. *hugs* Things are still rough over here, and we still need prayer, but today was pretty calming (which I thank God for) and I was able to do some really helpful reading which helped clarify a few things spiritually for me in terms of my rel...

Re: Spiritual Warfare

Thank you Blitz and The King's Daughter. I thought about taking that option, The King's Daughter but it's not feasible at the moment because this is a long-distance relationship, which means little contact as it is. What's more, one of the things I asked God for (to confirm that it was Him saying th...

Spiritual Warfare

Hey guys, I know I don't come here much anymore, but I'm kind of desperate so I don't know where else to turn right now except into His arms, and asking for prayer is part of this. My prayer request is twofold. First off, I'm not sure why, but I believe I am being spiritually attacked in regards to ...

I wear one. :) I find that it's not just a good opening to witness when people ask about it, but it is also a very good pervert deterrant where I live.

Re: Headcovering?

I myself do not wear headcoverings, nor do I believe that a woman's long hair is her headcovering (as I usually cut my hair verfairly short out of convenience). I think that has to do more with culture than anything else, so while I will not wear them myself, I won't really criticize those who do.

I am exhausted and I've got my last final exam tomorrow afternoon (FINALLY!), so I'm going to bed. As my friend from South Africa would say, "Cheers." :D

Re: How late do you usually go to sleep?

Haha, it depends. If I got to get up at 6 AM because of my Stats class at 8 AM, then I'll go to be around 10-10:30. If I don't have to get up early, then it's usually around 11-11:30 PM and pass out at around 12 AM. XD

Hi y'all, Haystack popping in for another visit. :) When I heard about the tornado splurge I booted it over here because I knew that the vast majority of you were down in the States and I wasn't sure if everybody was ok. *hugs everybody effected*

I will be praying!

Re: Favorite Wii games

Ok, from what I've played and/or owned, here's what I can recommend: Super Smash Bros. Brawl (SO MUCH FUN), Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 (I have them both, they're excellent), Avatar: Into the Inferno (DO NOT GET 'THE BURNING EARTH', because the graphics are terrible), Wii Sports and Wii Party. I'm ho...

Re: Cancer (Please Pray, Child Patient)

Hmmm... 'Cancer (Please Pray, Child Patient)'. So if it was an adult patient, we wouldn't have to pray \:D/? *hides* :P No, cancer stinks no matter what age a person gets it at. It's just a bit more horrifying if the patient is a young child. :( Anyhoo, I have a bit of update for everyone. They don...

Re: Potential medical problems for myself........please pray.

God, I pray for your servant AIO Psyche, first and foremost for healing to whatever medical problem he may have. Secondly, I pray for him to experience Your perfect peace in the face of fear. Thirdly, I pray for the doctors who see to him. May they have wisdom as they test him soon. Fourthly, I pray...

Cancer (Please Pray, Child Patient)

I hop onto Facebook this morning and find this on my Youth Pastor's status: A pastor in Calgary, he and his wife just found out their 4 year old son has been diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer. 4 tumors have been found. Please uphold this family in prayer! I echo this last statement.

Re: A Prayer for A Friend

 OH. MY. WORD. Ok, I think I need to give you guys a bit of an update. 'W' was up here for about a month, in which her Dad pretty much forbade her to see anyone but her own ethnicity (that alone should have set off warning bells in my head), so that combined with college prevented me from get...
