Re: Books mentioned in Odyssey
Did people already mention "The Tangled Web" by John A. Whittaker? (At least, I think that's what it's called...) Also, Eugene read some Odyssey traffic manual while studying for his driving test in A License to Drive . Don't remember the name of the manual though. I'm clearly just too goo...

Re: Favorite AIO couple?
They need to be, though. (That's my subliminal message to the AIO team to BRING BACK MY BABIES LIKE NOW but I'm feeling subtle today). I mean, where would we be without a romance involving old journals, mistaken valentines, pressed and dried flowers, dropped spoon proposals, "Most Studious&quo...

I don't mean to encourage your off-topicness guys, but I'm sitting in a near empty computer lab making strange gulping noises as I try to smother my giggles. so stop.

Re: How did you get that username?
I always liked Smaug the dragon. Sadly, after almost an entire lifetime of pronouncing it as something akin to "Smog", I find out that it's actually more "Sm'ow'g" than anything. :( A more disillusioning moment I have never experienced. I can't wear my first avatar because I don'...

Re: the collective 'he'
As far as the collective 'he' issue, I don't think there's really a right or wrong way. The English language changes all the time - what's 'correct' grammar now will be seen as archaic in the future - why shouldn't 'she' start being used collectively too? Is there any reason why both can't be used? ...

Re: The Lizzie Bennet Diaries
The Lizzie Bennet Diaries have become a small part of my life now. For the last few months, watching the new episodes on Monday and Thursday have been a sort of therapy from daily stress. I did not anticipate becoming so emotionally attached to the characters in this series. There have been times wh...

Re: Regis Returns II - Epic Subtitle Here
"Exactly. I'll leave you to your work, and get back to mine."
Edwin spun around, and headed back out the concealed exit. As a parting shot, he turned and said: "we're so close Philips. So very close. And the reward will be great indeed."

Re: Regis Returns II - Epic Subtitle Here
Edwin ran some calculations in his head. This period was a delicate stage in his plans, and delays could mean an increased risk of being exposed. Things were already heating up, he could sense it. The longer they waited, the greater chance that someone would get suspicious, and everything would be r...

Re: Regis Returns II - Epic Subtitle Here
Edwin maintained the carefully neutral mask he had adopted recently, and nodded slowly as Philips expounded on his work. Inwardly, he was jubilant. Despite having very limited knowledge of computers and programming, the theater-loving Blackgaard had a logical and intelligent mind, and he followed Ph...

Re: Regis Returns II - Epic Subtitle Here
Edwin Blackgaard studied the figures on the file on his computer screen intently. His mouse pointer hovered over one doubtfully, and after hastily scribbling a few notes on his memo pad, he altered it slightly. He leaned back in his expensive leather office chair, and cast an approving eye over the ...

Re: Q&A with a God-loving tween
This topic makes me realize how much I don't know. How do you go about making these decisions about what you believe or don't believe? I'm constantly being swayed one way or another depending on what account I'm reading. Wooton, I'm impressed with your ability to answer these questions. I'd have cra...

Heh, it's been so long since I changed my style from newToO, I almost forgot we even had the option. What happened to RegisVille? CatsVille was the closest I could find.

Re: BBC's "Sherlock" Series
I remember seeing this topic before. So what I want to know is why it isn't full of my effusive praise? :anxious: Basically, Sherlock is my favourite tv show ever. I am a huge fan, ever since I watched all three episodes of season one in the space of 14 hours almost two years ago. I thought season o...

Hmm.. strange. I don't seem to have that option.
I know it should be on profile somewhere, but unless it's really tiny, or invisible, or I'm just being incredibly obtuse, it's not.

Gender change?
So... I've been male for a while now. I had my profile changed during the week of craziness or whatever, but forgot about it until recently. I changed my age and location back, but I can't find the gender change button.
