It's "mythology" because Odyssey isn't real You better take that back! :x ;) it isn't? can you tell me the address of Whit's End? i'd love to take a trip in the Imagination Station! i just hope there are no vials of "rukku" lying around anywhere..... :- ah, wouldn't it be great ...

maybe it is a good thing that the writers are taking a break from the show and going off by themselves to think of new ideas and directions the show should take. i think that the show has a great team of writers, but no matter how great a team you have, if you don't take a "time out" every...

And KBT, I fail to see what is so hard about being an above target range fan. To me, the story now seems less real, and some of the drama (IE Eugene's dad) seems a bit fake. Also, comparing your problems to kid's problems make your life seem even harder. :P :) i totally agree with the "fake&qu...

okay, i've had some time to read the book, and yes it does have a ton of information. i went back and looked at the old book and forgot just how much of it contains a synopsis of each episode. also, i love all the pictures. it really is a great way to help newbies understand the whole town of Odysse...

so for those of you who have listened to the episodes, how do they stack up against "regular" Odyssey episodes? i read that some of our favourite characters are on board. are these episodes written differently or anything? are they more based on the "kids" or the adults? just cur...

i like the new book, but i kinda like the old one a bit better. the new book "looks" huge, but the type is really big and it doesn't contain as much info as i would have liked. but it is truly a great book to have.

i look at it this way: the show has been on for so long that they have covered so many subjects that they have to be careful not to repeat themselves again and again. for those of us who have been with Odyssey since it's beginnings, we have hundreds and hundreds of hours of episodes to revisit and e...

Connie should not get married ever. Having her marry Wooten would be totally stupid. Wooten is great the way he is. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" Nothing is broke were Wooten is concerned, so leave him be. oh, i do think connie should get married. in connie, we get to see her from a ...

i do agree that the episodes do not seem to have the same inspiration as the older ones. of course, this could be because some of us are just set in our ways and find it hard to embrace newer characters. i do think, however, that whenever the writers stick to the "main" characters in odyss...

personally, i think that it would be best to have an episode in which tom riley goes to meet his Lord.

people do die in real life. it would be a fitting tribute to walker and would remind kids of all ages that no one needs to fear death.

i don't think that there is way to write a history of Odyssey which truly does justice to the program. we have the old "adventures in odyssey" book which gave a detailed description of each episode for the first twenty five or so volumes. however ........ personally, i think the only way t...

I do hope that "Tom Riley" dies in the show. What an excellent way to show kids that in Jesus, there really is no death. It could actually be a very uplifting and exciting show as characters in Odyssey talk about Tom's walk with Jesus. Kids have to deal with death and AIO is the perfect pl...

Sanjaya?

i finally sat down with my wife the other night and watched American Idol for the first time this season. after hearing some of the performers, i think Connie Kendall actually has a shot on the show if she would try out.

the theme from "six feet under". (this is a VERY icky program and i would not recommend people view it.)

however, the theme song is haunting.

i think it is hard to "define" what ministering is. also, just because a person or group is "Christian", it shouldn't mean that a concert has to include a long alter call, etc. for example, my wife and i went to see Casting Crowns earlier this year. we paid $40.00 a ticket, and w...

it's hard to say just "what" makes an episode classic. sometimes it is the storyline, other times it is just an episode in which a favourite character does something totally unexpected. there is a special chemistry in the oldies with hal smith as whit, especially the connie, eugene and whi...

for some reason, i never liked monica stone. ideally, june kendall should consider dating a younger man, marry jason, then he would be connie's step dad.

If You Could Talk To The Writers Of AIO

first, i gotta say up front that AIO has been a major blessing these many years. there are so many great things about Odyssey that are too numerous to mention. i'm sure that we have all at one time or another wished we could be in on the writing process, etc, so i thought it would be neat if we all ...

odyssey will never be the same. walker edmiston made odyssey come alive. he brought such life and "joy" to the show, and it will never be the same without him. i hope that the producers don't try to find another voice actor for bart or any of the other characters he played. and i hope that...
