If you look at most major special-effects movies (Batman Begins, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Polar Express, War of the Worlds, Harry Potter, Narnia, King Kong) they are all coming out in three editions. Two with only the movie and no special effects (widescreen, fullscreen), and a two-disk ed...

What exactly was this draught? Is there any possibitly that it was what Dumbledore drank in the cave?

Wow looks like a real SW movie (especially one of the older ones).
The actors look a bit too much like average adult fantasy nerds, but I guess that's who made the movie.
Too bad those guys won't be able to make any money off of their hard work and tallent.

I'm not very excited about the movie but I haven't read Eragon so I don't really have anything to connect it to. I don't read much of the "magical mythical land full of dragons and heros and it's own elaborate history" books. The wacky names alone turn me off. I have however read LOTR, but...

I wonder why this article isn't easy to find on the site. I couldn't find it anywhere.

The album art is included so the albums certainly look official. I think it's a great ideat if they've really made the Blackgaard collecton. The updated Maze of Mysteries looks great too. I always thought that there were a few eps that didn't need to be on there and some (such as Mysterious Stranger...

if Harry Potter had been written by Lemony Snicket

I was digging through some old files of mine and found this little peice I had written. It's a little dated, though since it refers to books which are no longer the latest ones in both the HP and LS series. Dear Reader If you are hoping to find in this book a happy and enchanting tale about a young ...

This is the first ep in a long time that I actually found quite interesting. One of the best things about it was that it wasn't afraid to explore some intriging emtional territory such as Eugene's frustration and sadness, the bitterness of Eugene's stepfather and the great mystery that is Meltsner Sr.

One of the worst things about this ep was its complete lack of originality. Just take "Ski Vacation" and replace the "laughing so hard milk is coming out the nose" with a giant hot-dog-shaped car and there you go. How are the writers going to avoid Barkely comparisons if they wri...

I read the book first, then saw the movie on TV. The books was really good since it was actually written by the guy himself. The movie was pretty good, but a little dissapointing.

I honestly don't remember a positive review coming from you in quite some time. Very true. Often it's more fun to complain them to say something positive. But to be honest, the ep didn't hold my interest. I ended up just skipping to the end to see if it got better. I suppose that wasn't really givi...

Since AIO seems to love "It's a wonderful like" so much, I think I'll quote one of it's nasty characters in regards to this ep: sentimental hogwash!

(harsh comment? well I just thought there needed to be a balance since there were so many reviews saying how incredible it was).
