Re: The David Crowder Band...
I'm sooo happy Relient K is doing a covers release. They do the best covers. I seriously doubt this is the last we will hear from David Crowder and the band. We may not hear them together, but a guy's gotta eat to live and support his family. You need money for that. And for money you need a job. Wh...

Re: Your Favorite Princess
Princess Giselle would have become a Princess, official, had Enchanted not used real actors and actresses. Disney decided that to use Giselle's likeness would have meant paying Amy Adams royalties - and they didn't want to. Actually, Giselle was never a princess nor did she marry a prince. It was t...

Re: Hand drawn, or CGI?
I voted for CGI, but as a side note, The Princess and the Frog was not hand-drawn, it was just a 2D animation done on a computer. Uh... it was hand-drawn. :), but then scanned into a computer. Just without dealing with 3D. It seems there was a lot of back and forth, and definitely some computer usa...

I refuse to consider Pocahontas a Disney princess. And how is Mulan a princess? Did she marry a prince?

Re: Hand drawn, or CGI?
It really depends on the movie. Some stories are better-suited to being told in a different medium. Bolt is one I would have preferred hand-drawn, while the Pixar movies simply wouldn't have the same impact if they weren't CG. In general, I prefer hand-drawn. There's more freedom and it feels more h...

Re: Anime/Manga discussion
Ah man, Digimon. The nostalgic feel is coming back to me. Remember waking up Saturday mornings just to go and watch it on foxkids. But why not season 3? It was good, but it wasn't quite as good as the others (It's got the same director as Big O, though)... the new ones are just awful... full of gen...

Re: Anime/Manga
Asking what your opinion on anime is, is like asking what your opinion on American television is. That's kind of a loaded question. Each show much be judged on an individual level, regardless of where it's made.

Re: The 'Lost' celebration thread!!!
I don't know, I kinda catch it ridiculous that it needed 6 seasons. I mean how long can you be really lost on an island? The show is not about being lost on an island. And six season is rather short compared to most prime time dramas. And each season isn't that long, with season 1 being the longest...

Re: Baptism
It's not important to remember the date of your salvation. Whoever believes in Jesus is saved. That's present tense. If you believe now, that's all that matters. Emphasis should not be placed on times and places in the past.

As usual, this is a horrible trailer, yet everyone, including myself, will go see this movie simply because it is Pixar and it will be an awesome movie.
